Construction & Landscaping Lead Hand

We are hiring an experienced Construction & Landscaping Lead Hand to join our Saskatoon team. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone with at least 5 years of experience in residential construction, landscaping, hardscaping, or exterior renovations. Winter work includes residential and commercial snow removal.

Responsibilities
Lead and assist with construction and landscaping projects including decks, fences, patios, retaining walls, grading, drainage, concrete prep, irrigation, metal roofing, cladding, framing, and exterior repairs. Coordinate crews, materials, tools, and equipment; read measurements and grades; operate skid steers, trailers, and power tools; maintain safe, organized worksites; train crew members; communicate with clients and supervisors; and troubleshoot job site issues.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Experience with decks, fences, hardscaping, grading, drainage,



and exterior construction

Ability to read measurements and understand layout, grades, and elevations

Experience operating skid steers, compact equipment, trailers, and power tools

Leadership skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Physically capable of outdoor manual labour

Valid driver's license preferred

Must live in or near Saskatoon

Assets

Trailer experience, equipment certifications, First Aid or fall protection, concrete, irrigation, carpentry, siding, roofing, or landscaping certifications.
