Are you looking to broaden your Human Resources experience while supporting employees across Canada? Canadian Bearings is seeking an organized, collaborative, and service-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role plays an integral part in supporting the day-to-day operations of HR by coordinating employee lifecycle processes, administering HR programs and systems, and helping deliver a positive employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to gain exposure to a broad range of Human Resources functions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
HR Operations
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
Prepare employment-related documentation, including employment letters, salary change letters, confirmations of employment, and other HR correspondence.
Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
Support HR reporting, compliance activities, audits, and process improvements.
HR Systems & Technology
Administer employee information and HR processes within UKG, including onboarding and other HR modules.
Coordinate Recruitment Gateway administration, including job postings, recruitment workflow management, and hiring manager support.
Administer the Citations learning platform, including training assignments, completion tracking, and reporting.
Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers regarding HR systems and processes.
Benefits & Employee Programs
Administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and leave-related documentation.
Coordinate the Company's employee recognition program,
including service awards and employee appreciation initiatives.
Assist employees with general inquiries related to HR programs and benefits.
Employee Communications & Engagement
Prepare and publish employee communications through Canadian Bearings Universe (CBU).
Coordinate internal HR communications and support employee engagement initiatives.
Assist in the planning and coordination of HR events, training, and employee programs.
Health & Safety & Compliance
Serve as a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC).
Coordinate mandatory health, safety, and compliance training through Citations, including First Aid, Forklift Certification, Cybersecurity Awareness, and other required company training programs.
Maintain training records, monitor completion rates, and coordinate recertification requirements with managers and employees.
Support health and safety documentation, meeting coordination, and follow-up activities.
What We're Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of Human Resources or related administrative experience.
CHRP designation or working toward completion is considered an asset.
Experience working with HRIS platforms (UKG experience is an asset).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
