This is a temporary position for approximately 12 months.

Ability toperform all diagnostic procedures with the skill and judgement to applyprescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. The ability todeliver quality patient care safely within the scope of practice defined by theCollege of Medical Radiation Technology and Imaging Technologists of Ontario(CMRITO).

Must have theability to work with minimal supervision during regular hours and nosupervision after hours. Must possess the ability to work safely andprofessionally with patients, and other healthcare staff.

Qualifications:

Requires a post-secondary degree/diploma inMedical Radiation Technology.

CT courses 1,2 and 3

Speciality designation in CT preferred

IV training course or equivalent

Must be registered with the College of MedicalRadiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

Experience:

Experience in a hospital CT clinicalenvironment.

Experience with IV starts and contrastinjections.
