Lassonde is seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Specialist to drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and decrease downtime. This role emphasizes advanced technical skills in industrial controls and automation technologies, requiring hands-on involvement from project conception to commissioning. Flexibility for travel and off-hours work supports critical manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and VFD systems
• Lead capital projects from development through startup
• Conduct root-cause investigations for automation issues
• Implement energy efficiency and reliability improvements
• Maintain and update technical documentation and standards
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in industrial automation
• Solid background in Allen-Bradley PLC systems
• Ability to read and modify electrical drawings
• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing a plus
