Join the Ministry of Children and Family Services as a Child Intervention Manager in Northern Alberta’s Grande Prairie, Slave Lake, and Peace River areas. You will be responsible for steering high-quality intervention programs, fostering a shift towards healthy family dynamics. Your focus will be on collaboration, compliance, and systems-thinking strategies for effective service implementation in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead intervention service delivery for children and families
• Support and mentor frontline staff to improve practices
• Ensure program alignment with regional and ministry objectives
• Advocate for new initiatives promoting strategic directions
• Address community needs through culturally protected practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or applicable field
• Four years of supervisory experience in child protection
• Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle required
• Proficient with diverse community engagement
• Required registration with ACSW and prior delegations
