Drive sustainability as a Building Performance Specialist, focusing on energy efficiency initiatives critical to Nova Scotia's climate goals. This position blends office and fieldwork to manage and promote building performance improvements.

In this role, you’ll report directly to the Building Performance Lead, working to enhance asset management and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. You should bring over five years of experience to analyze, plan, and oversee energy conservation initiatives that improve operational efficiency across the building portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop energy conservation programs effectively
• Provide analysis and reporting to guide management decisions
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting for building operations




• Implement energy-efficient standards across all HVAC systems
• Train and provide technical guidance to other staff

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience
• Familiarity with systems like RETScreen® and HVAC
• Knowledge of energy codes such as ASHRAE 90.1
• Valid driver's license for site visits
• Solid analytical skills with data processing abilities
