Join Interior Health as a Compliance Lead, Medication Systems, in a full time role with flexible work locations. This position focuses on enhancing controlled substances management across the organization.

In this pivotal role, the Compliance Lead will utilize their passion for quality improvement and strong leadership abilities to support employees in handling controlled substances. Candidates are expected to engage others effectively and foster trusting relationships while ensuring adherence to federal, provincial, and local regulations. Travel might be required to conduct audits and support management in maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Consult with Managers to ensure compliance with policies
• Develop and monitor audit processes for controlled substances




• Establish a multidisciplinary diversion prevention committee
• Report audit results to leadership teams
• Provide ongoing education on diversion prevention

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or pharmacy
• Minimum five years in a health service organization
• Licensure with BC health college
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to travel as needed
