B&R; Eckel’s is seeking a Bed Truck Operator to support oilfield transport work from the Bonnyville area.
This role supports safe, reliable transportation service with a team that values practical training, strong communication, and a workplace culture built around employee safety and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Move rig buildings, derricks, matting, and other miscellaneous oilfield equipment.
Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.
Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and dangerous goods procedures.
Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Weekend work, on-call work, and overtime may be required.
Travel and/or camp work may be required.
Qualifications
Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean abstract required.
Map reading / LSD knowledge.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrated organizational skills, time management, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work with little supervision in a professional manner.
Valuable depth perception and manual dexterity.
