The QA Compliance Coordinator organizes, coordinates, and assists in the activities required for the attainment of various quality compliance and certification initiatives for Factors Group locations.

Permanent Full-Time (40 hours)

Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Hybrid

$65,500 - $75,000

In this role, you will:

Prepare and coordinate activities needed for the attainment and maintenance of key certifications such as Organic, Halal, Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), Fish Oil Standards (FOS), etc.

Prepare, update, and maintain quality agreements with suppliers, customers, and relevant stakeholders

Receive, evaluate, and coordinate investigations for product quality complaints and adverse reactions

Issue and track corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPAs) with relevant departments to ensure proper closure

Conduct trend analysis and present quarterly and annual reports as a part of management review

Track and notify key licensing and certification updates to Quality management to ensure compliance with evolving regulations and guidelines

Liaise external stakeholders and internal personnel related to Quality compliance initiatives

Develop, maintain, follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work procedures (WPs), and adhere to cGMP and Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVPs)

You have:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or Food Science)





Experience in a similar role in food, natural health products (NHP), and/or pharmaceutical industry (2+ years)

Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Competent with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), including data collection, analysis, and reporting

Knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Food and Drugs Act (FDA), Health Canada, European Union TRACES, and Australia's (Therapeutic Goods Administration) TGA regulations (an asset)

Experience with and responsibility for Organic accreditation, certification programs applicable to industry (an asset)

Experience with performing or participating in vendor audits. Certified Quality Auditor / Supplier Quality Auditor certification (an asset)

Experience with pharmacovigilance and complaint handling (an asset)Knowledge of product, raw materials specifications, and label compliance requirements (an asset)

Valid BC driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
