We are looking for a seasoned Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting across multiple company books, supervise bookkeeping, and prepare financial statements.
Responsibilities: Manage general ledger postings and day-to-General bookkeeping responsibilities: general ledger postings and accounting duties
Handle full-cycle accounting for a multiple number companies
Supervise bookkeeping duties
Prepare financial statements
Prepare and process invoices
Perform bank reconciliation
Draft cheques and remittances
Process bank deposits and other errands as necessary
Process sales tax payments
Support general day-to-day administrative duties
Qualifications: College or University Education in Business or Accounting
5-10 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving ability, time management skills and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
