Salary
$60,000 to 86,000 annually (To be negotiated), 40 to 50 hours per Week

A DRIVER WITH ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IS PAID $0.48 PER MILE

DRIVERS CAN EXPECT APPROXIMATELY 2,500 MILE PER WEEK

Responsibilities and Tasks

Professionalism in customer service

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

Load and unload goods

Operate and driveClass 1 or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

Perform brake adjustments

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Credentials / Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Defensive Driving Course, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Forklift Operator Certification, Professional Driver Improvement Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Documentation Knowledge
Accident or incident reports, Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip),



Trans-border documentation, Trip reports
