As part of the Liquid Waste Services Department, you will utilize your mechanical skills to maintain, repair, and overhaul various essential equipment, including pumps and engines. Key Responsibilities:
• Install and align machinery to specified tolerances
• Maintain and overhaul large pumps and engines
• Troubleshoot issues reported by operators
• Train junior mechanics in best practices
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus a Trades Qualification certificate
• Minimum four years' experience in mechanical maintenance
• Proficient in machine fitting and welding
• Solid analytical skills and effective communicator
• Valid B.C driver’s license and reliable hand tools
