GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Reporting to the Airport Manager, the Airport Maintenance Mechanic provides monitoring, maintenance, and repair functions for the airport runway, roadways, grounds, buildings, equipment, sewer and water.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or equivalent





A valid Class 1 or Class 3 BC Driver’s License with Air Brake endorsement

Level 1 First Aid

At least one (1) year of experience in airport equipment service, some heavy-duty mechanical experience, welding experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
