As an HSE Coordinator, you will work closely with the HSE Supervisor to promote a culture of safety across commercial construction projects. You will lead safety committee meetings, conduct site inspections, and develop emergency response plans, ensuring every team member returns home safely. Your expertise in health and safety legislation will be crucial to maintaining compliance and fostering a proactive safety environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings
• Conduct regular inspections and monitor compliance
• Develop and manage emergency response plans
• Deliver safety training and orientations
• Oversee documentation and compliance reporting
Requirements:
• NCSO designation or equivalent certification
• 2–5 years of construction safety experience
• Strong knowledge of Ontario safety legislation
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
