Job Duties
- Preparation of analysis, calculations and drafting of reports for various litigation and valuation matters, including:
- Personal injury damage quantification
- Damage quantification and business valuations for commercial litigation and family law
- Business valuations for CBM clients
- Forensic accounting analysis
- Insurance claim quantification
- Conducting industry and market research and reviewing case law to keep up with industry trends
- Communication with lawyers, clients and other professionals
- Participation in business development activities (attending conferences and events and actively pursuing new clients)
- Assisting with updates and improvements to templates
Key Qualifications
- Business or Accounting diploma
- CPA or CPA Student is an asset
- Client service experience is considered an asset
- Interest in pursuing related industry designation (CBV, CFF, etc.)
Core Competencies
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft 365 (ex, excel, word, etc.)
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
