Visual Designer
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Pay Rate: $72.47/hr - $85.57/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months
We at Raise are hiring a Visual Designer for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end dedicated designer on the mobile banking app pillar, responsible for the ownership of the design process from discovery, high-fidelity design, accessibility, and visual design testing to release support.
Supporting the visual creative direction of the mobile banking app, with a keen understanding of both iOS and Android native patterns and interactions.
Must have skills:
5+ years of experience as a Visual Designer with a strong focus on UI and visual design.
Outstanding portfolio showcasing modern, clean,



visually appealing designs with solid attention to detail and current design trends.
Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
Strong communications skills.
Mobile application design experience is required
Proficiency with design and collaboration tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Mural, Jira, and Confluence.
Design system + token/variables
Nice-to-haves
Previous experience in Finance, Commercial Banking, or Payments domain.
Banking/financial services experience is nice to have but not mandatory.
