Mercer is seeking an experienced skilled for the Alternatives team, reporting directly to the Regional CIO. This leadership role emphasizes developing client-centric investment strategies while mentoring the Alternatives team. You will play a vital role in shaping the investment proposition and ensuring high-quality client deliverables across diverse alternatives products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop the investment strategy for alternative assets
• Lead and mentor Alternatives Investment Directors
• Manage multi-asset alternative strategies and advisory mandates
• Collaborate on product development and Know-Your-Product initiatives
• Promote Mercer Alternatives through thought leadership and marketing
Requirements:
• BA/BS in finance or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 15+ years of experience in alternatives investing
• CFA and CAIA certifications preferred
• Canadian Portfolio Manager registration preferred
• Bilingual in French and English for client interactions
