EPCOR is seeking a full-time Senior Analyst, Capital Assets in Edmonton, AB. This pivotal role focuses on capital assets reporting, forecasting accuracy, and financial stewardship.

In this permanent position, you will support capital asset management by maintaining sub-ledgers and ensuring accurate reporting for IFRS and US GAAP. With a minimum of four years of progressive accounting experience, you will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance capital budgeting and reporting processes. Your analytical skills will be crucial in optimizing performance metrics and financial stewardship across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with capital assets reporting and budgeting processes
• Maintain Oracle Fixed Assets and record depreciation




• Prepare monthly capital expenditure reports for management
• Monitor project costs and ensure proper accounting treatments
• Identify and support process improvements within the function

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Skilled Accountant (CPA) designation required
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong IFRS knowledge focusing on capital assets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis
