Super GeoAI Technology (SGA) is a rapidly growing AI startup transforming agriculture through cutting-edge geospatial AI solutions. We develop cutting-edge technologies that combine artificial intelligence (AI), drones, LiDAR, mobile computing, cloud platforms, and geospatial analytics to solve complex real-world challenges in agriculture and beyond.

To support our rapid growth, SGA recently welcomed 10 new employees, including six Ph.D. graduates specializing in AI and Geospatial AI (GeoAI). We are now expanding our engineering team to accelerate the development and commercialization of our AI-powered products.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Application Developer to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of SGA's next-generation Android and iOS applications.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will define the technical direction of our mobile platform, mentor developers, and build commercial mobile applications that integrate AI, drones, LiDAR, cloud computing, and geospatial technologies.

Working closely with AI engineers, cloud developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, you will help deliver innovative mobile solutions used by farmers, crop insurance organizations, researchers, and government agencies across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership

Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of cross-platform mobile applications.

Establish coding standards, software architecture, and engineering best practices.





Mentor developers through technical guidance and code reviews.

Drive software quality, performance, security, and maintainability.

Mobile Application Development

Develop and maintain high-performance Flutter applications for Android and iOS.

Design intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces.

Publish and maintain production applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Real-Time Communication & AI Integration

Develop real-time chat, messaging, and AI-enabled voice messaging features.

Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, Firebase, cloud services, and AI inference platforms.

Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate computer vision, geospatial AI, and machine learning into mobile applications.

Develop robust offline-first applications with automatic synchronization.

Software Engineering

Participate in software architecture and product planning.

Collaborate with AI researchers, software engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers.

Improve development efficiency using AI-assisted coding tools, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering , or a related discipline.

5+ years of qualified mobile application development experience.

Strong experience developing commercial cross-platform applications using Flutter (Dart) .

Required Experience
Candidates must have demonstrated experience with:

Successfully developing, publishing, and maintaining commercial Flutter applications on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.





Designing and implementing real-time chat and messaging features, including one-to-one and group messaging.

Developing AI-powered voice communication features, including voice recording, speech-to-text transcription, AI voice interactions, playback, synchronization, and secure cloud storage.

Integrating REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, Firebase, or similar real-time communication technologies.

Integrating camera, GPS, Google Maps SDK or Mapbox, push notifications, background services, and offline data synchronization into production mobile applications.

Designing scalable mobile application architectures, including state management, performance optimization, and offline-first synchronization.

Implementing secure authentication, authorization, encrypted data storage, and mobile application security best practices.

Using Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile development methodologies, and modern DevOps workflows.

Leveraging AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or Gemini) to improve software design, coding, testing, debugging, and overall development productivity.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following is considered an asset:

Drone or UAV applications

Google Maps SDK, Mapbox, or GIS applications

Camera integration and image processing

Offline-first mobile applications

Computer vision or AI applicationsAWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
