As Director of Capital Engineering Support Services, you'll oversee multidisciplinary teams, align engineering initiatives with regulatory standards, and guide asset management. Your responsibilities include managing budgets, workforce planning, and recruitment while advising on service delivery. Collaborating with various stakeholders including municipalities and Indigenous communities enhances the impact of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams for effective project delivery
• Manage capital engineering support and asset management guidance
• Ensure compliance with legislation and Professional Engineers Ontario standards
• Develop budgets and manage effective workforce planning strategies
• Build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders for project success
Requirements:
• Licensed Professional Engineer in good standing with Professional Engineers Ontario
• Experience managing engineering teams and complex programs
• Strong knowledge of asset management and infrastructure standards
• Excellent analytical skills for assessing performance and financial data
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and willingness to travel
