Job Summary
Accomplished part‑time (0.2 FTE) palliative care physician to support a 15‑month parental leave (Sept 2026 – Jan 2028). You will work alongside other palliative care physicians to provide consultation services to acute care and community‑based patients across the Fraser Health Authority.
Qualifications
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
- Preference to candidates who have completed additional training in palliative medicine:
- One‑year enhanced‑skills residency and Certificate of Added Competence through the College of Family Physicians of Canada, or
- Two‑year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine.
Remuneration
Service contract with a provincially set rate, including Alternative Payment Plan, MOCAP – On‑Call Payments, and potential relocation reimbursement of up to $10,000.
Facility
Royal Columbian Hospital – one of three regional hospitals in Fraser Health providing high‑level services. The hospital is undergoing redevelopment, expanding opportunities for palliative care services.
