Our commitment to helping Canadian businesses thrive.
At Doane Grant Thornton, human connection is at the heart of everything we do, a place where great people come together to help our clients, colleagues, and communities thrive. We bring together the strength of a global network and an 85-year Canadian legacy, and as one of Canada’s best workplaces for 19 consecutive years, we take pride in being purpose‑driven. We employ about 3,000 professionals across the country, delivering trusted assurance, tax, and advisory services centered on strong relationships, practical insight, and deep understanding of business, while making a meaningful impact in the communities where we live and work. As we continue to grow, we remain a collaborative team where people genuinely care. We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.
You have already earned your seat at the Partner table. You have built trust, credibility, and a portfolio that reflects your judgement and leadership. You understand what growth demands, what keeps business owners up at night, and where real value is created beyond compliance. Clients look to you for more than technical expertise. They rely on your perspective, clarity, and insight that helps them move forward with confidence.
Now you are thinking about what comes next. Come build something great with us as our next Partner, Assurance, Audit & Privately Held Business Group.
You are not looking for a role that simply maintains what you have built. You are looking for the right platform to expand it. One that entrusts you to grow a practice, supports your ambition,
and surrounds you with peers who want to win together.
This is an opportunity to create something meaningful.
If this resonates with how you are thinking about your next chapter, it would be valuable to start a conversation. We recognize that exploring an opportunity at this level requires discretion.
All conversations and expression of interest will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality and respect for your current commitments.
A University Degree (preferably business) and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation are required, along with a public accounting license. Candidates who have met the requirements and are in the process of obtaining their license will also be considered.
Our special culture shines through when we have the opportunity to connect in person. That’s why we’re working in a model where teams are required to be together in the office 5 days per week.
