Birch Mountain Enterprises is hiring Steam Truck Operators for temporary roles, potentially leading to permanent positions. If you have a Class 5 license with Air Brake endorsement, this opportunity is perfect for you.
This position operates from the Fort Hills site in Fort McMurray. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and fit to work in various weather conditions. Experience with high-pressure steam trucks is preferred, and operators will wash heavy equipment as well as manage documentation and safety protocols effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate high-pressure steam truck for washing tasks
- Maintain accurate daily records and logbooks
- Follow Dispatch or Supervisor instructions
- Keep assigned truck clean to uphold company standards
- Attend safety meetings and comply with regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 with Q endorsement driver’s license
- Experience in high pressure steam truck operation
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- WHMIS, OSSA, and CSTS certifications required
- Pass pre-employment screenings
