Job Title: Architectural Technologist
Job Status: Permanent, Full Time
Salary and Advantages: $23.25 per hour

Job Description:

Main Job Duties and skill requirements of job:

- Be familiar with the challenge of construction in the

- Experience dealing with northern weather and soil conditions on design and building

- Be familiar with aboriginal culture and dealing with aboriginal

- Provide technical assistance to professional architect in conducting research, preparing drawings, architectural models, specifications and contracts and in supervising construction

- Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements and other technical documents and

- Be familiar with timeline for





- Be familiar with Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Public buildings design, New Construction, Interior Design,

- Computer applications: Computer aided drafting, Archi CAD, Architectural software program, Architectural

- Ability to train aboriginal youth basic Auto CAD

- Own Tool/Equipment: Cellular

- Ability to Supervise: Working groups, Contractors, Staff in various areas of responsibility

- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to details

- Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel

- Education: university degree

- Experience: minimum three years

- Languages: Speak, Read and Write English
