Customer Service / Kitchen Help

We are a new local pizza and catering business in Windsor, Ontario, looking for a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Customer Service / Kitchen Help team member. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organized during busy periods, and is willing to help wherever needed in a small restaurant environment.

Position Summary

The Customer Service / Kitchen Help position will support daily restaurant operations by answering phones, taking customer orders, assisting with front counter service, helping prepare and package orders, and supporting light kitchen and cleaning duties. The ideal candidate is polite, reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Answer phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately by phone and in person.
- Enter orders clearly and confirm details with customers.
- Assist with front counter service, takeout orders, and customer pick-ups.
- Package food orders carefully and ensure accuracy before they leave the restaurant.
- Support basic kitchen preparation as needed, including organizing supplies, restocking, and assisting with simple food prep tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter and kitchen area.
- Assist with dishes, cleaning, sanitizing, and closing duties as required.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to help orders move smoothly and on time.




- Provide friendly customer service and help create a positive experience for every customer.

Qualifications

- Previous customer service, restaurant, kitchen, or cash handling experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to take orders accurately and pay attention to details.
- Comfortable answering phones and speaking with customers.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
- Willingness to help with kitchen support, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
