The Field Logistics Coordinator is responsible for field support such as but not limited to logistics and trucking, utility locates and equipment rentals to assist the operations for piling, grouting and investigative projects. This position works closely with superintendents, project managers and operations to support project performance and efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

Field Operations Support and Project Management

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations (Occupational Health & Safety Act) and company safety policies, conducting HSE inspections and audits as required.
- Support daily operations, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and meet performance goals working closely with drilling superintendents.
- Manager project schedule for many projects while maximizing manpower, equipment and material utilization.
- Verify maintenance needs for equipment and tooling and communicate these needs with Maintenance department.
- Organize logistics and trucking to support site needs. Find cost saving processes for trucking and logistics without reducing service to field.
- Manage utility locates for projects, including verification in utility-rich areas, renewal based on scheduling, and coordination with clients for as-builts or private locates.
- Manage the equipment rental program to ensure best pricing and service while minimizing unnecessary rentals. Returns and tracking of equipment.
- Manage purchase order and job cost for rentals, purchases and logistics to ensure accurate billing information.
- Support project compliance and QC through work order creation,



editing and completion.

Operations and Quality Control

- Recommend tools, technologies, and procedures to streamline communication and improve field and office integration.
- Work with shop staff to create and manage a field support inventory and process such as drill tooling/small tools inventory and control.

Safety and Compliance

- Enforce company safety policies and ensure the safety of all staff in office, identifying known hazards and responding proactively.
- Ensure all rules, regulations, and applicable codes are observed, providing leadership in daily operations to meet compliance standards.
- Manage crew members site training requirements both ongoing and specific to sites.

Inventory and Resource Management

- Verify stock levels of spare parts and consumables for installation processes, ensuring these are maintained at appropriate levels for uninterrupted operations.
- Coordinate with the superintendents, shop and project managers for the ordering, fabrication, and delivery of project materials, tools and equipment.

Communication and Reporting

- Communicate identified gaps in processes or project needs to the appropriate manager to ensure swift action and support.




- Complete and submit all required reports and documentation accurately and on time, utilizing technology platforms effectively.

Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of construction, drilling methods and related knowledge is preferred, with the ability to adapt practices to changing project needs.
- Competence in various technology platforms used in field and office settings.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging field conditions.
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills for clear communication across all staff levels.

This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and quality in all project aspects. The role must be proactive in identifying challenges, seeking solutions, and collaborating effectively with field and office teams. The position may evolve as new project requirements or operational improvements are identified.

Your skillset is above average in general office administration tasks. You are self directed, organized and can take on any task with determination. Being well versed in technology, you are able to maneuver Microsoft applications with ease.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
