Poraver is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Production & Shipping Associate to join our growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for packaging, material handling, shipping, and loading our recycled glass aggregate products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.

What You’ll Do

- Operate automated bagging equipment to package finished products into bags and super sacks.
- Operate the 55L bagging system to fill paper bags and stack finished product onto pallets.
- Stage orders and prepare products for shipment while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Load trucks and trailers according to approved loading plans.
- Complete shipping paperwork, product labeling, and production records accurately.
- Ensure all products are packaged correctly and meet required weight specifications.
- Safely operate forklifts, dock loading equipment, and automatic stretch wrapping machines.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensuring equipment is fueled or charged before use.
- Assist with inventory handling, including weighing, counting, sorting, packing, and unpacking materials.
- Identify equipment issues and report maintenance requirements promptly.
- Perform general labour duties and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout each shift.




- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, drivers, and visitors.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

- Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is considered an asset.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset (training may be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the shift.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to wear an N95 respirator while working in designated plant areas.
