Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient transportation of freight.
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track shipments and optimize routes.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of shipments and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding their routes, schedules, and any changes that may arise.
- Analyze freight data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain phone etiquette while handling calls from customers and drivers, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.




- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Receiving emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
- Receiving and dispatching orders for products or deliveries

Skills

- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of freight operations and supply chain processes.
- Ability to analyze data effectively for decision-making purposes.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette for skilled interactions with clients and drivers.
- Knowledge of loadbooking.
- Proven experience as dispatcher or in a relevant position

- Dispatching: 2 years (required)
