Role Description:
In general, this position will assist in the development of the annual marketing plans and support the implementation of the strategies and programs agreed upon. This may include cost reductions, new distribution, and their marketing support elements, merchandising, consumer promotions, trade support programs, packaging, market research, category analysis, concept development, product refinement, launch strategies and development and pricing.
Education, Skills and Competencies Required:
- College Diploma required, bachelor’s degree emphasis in Marketing preferred.
- 1-2 years related work experience, preferably in a classic marketing environment such as consumer-packaged goods.
- Knowledge of category management, demonstrating success in the execution of marketing plans
- Knowledge of inventory management
- Demonstrated talent in both analytical and creative areas
- Demonstrated creativity in packaging and developing collateral materials
- Excellent computer skills, including Windows O/S, Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
internet & intranet experience
- Strong project management skills – ability to pull resources together to lead a project to completion.
- Excellent written and oral communications & collaborative skills
- Ability to use analytical thinking to assess data and develop information
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the assigned Portfolio
- Help formulate brand strategies and new product introductions
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, with on-time delivery.
- Proactively identify risks and/or required changes
- Implement assigned projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate go to market materials of new products (communication & systems implementation)
- Present at sales meetings and assist in the creation of presentations for both external customers and internal stakeholders
- Development of packaging and other creative materials
- Liaison with other functional groups to address consumer and customer issues
- Manage consumer learning and market research efforts (qualitative and quantitative research)
- Support product pricing and profitability analysis for decision making
- Source data on a regular basis, define metrics and report progress against planned objectives
- Perform competitive market analysis and benchmarking
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers.
- Adhere to safe work practices, instructions and rules and perform work duties in a manner that ensures the health and safety of all employees
- Ensure compliance with CCL financial policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory and tax requirements.
- Use AI tools to enhance thought processes and improve efficiency

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
