Tackpoint is a precision bearing manufacturer designing and producing high-performance products for aerospace, space, defense, and oil & gas applications. Our parts operate in some of the most demanding environments in the world, where precision and reliability are critical. These applications include record-setting drilling motors, deep-sea exploration suits, search and rescue camera gimbals, the Canadarm2, and the Canadarm3.

We run state of the art CNC equipment with advanced process controls, enabling consistent, high-tolerance production. Our shop houses the most accurate Coordinate Measuring Machine in Canada, a top of the line Super Precision lathe, an ultra-high speed 5-axis mill, automated finishing, rotary grinding and more. As we expand, we are hiring skilled operators who want to work on challenging, high-value components using premium equipment.

- Milling Operator

Shift

- Night Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
- Regular Overtime Available

Added Compensation

- $2/hour night shift premium for a combined pay range of $32-$40/hour

What You’ll Work On

- Precision bearing components for aerospace, space, and defense systems, and oil & gas
- Tight-tolerance parts with repeatable,



controlled processes
- Advanced CNC Mills, Matsuura 4 axis and 5 axis

What You’ll Do

- Operate CNC mills in a high-precision production setting
- Perform setups, tool offsets, and adjustments
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Read and interpret CMM reports
- Maintain strict quality and tolerance requirements
- Follow structured, well-defined machining processes

Requirements

- CNC machine operation experience (Milling experience preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently
