About the Role:

The Fleet Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and management of a company's vehicle fleet within Canada.



This position is responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance, tracking fleet usage, and supporting logistics to optimize fleet performance and reduce operational costs. The Fleet Associate collaborates closely with drivers, maintenance teams, and management to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. By maintaining accurate records and analyzing fleet data, the associate helps identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless transportation and delivery operations that support the broader business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management principles.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software or related computer applications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience working in fleet management or transportation within Canada.
- Familiarity with Canadian transportation regulations and safety standards.




- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Experience with GPS tracking systems and route optimization tools.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain accurate records of all fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate routine and emergency vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Monitor fleet usage and fuel consumption, providing regular reports to management to support budgeting and operational decisions.
- Assist in scheduling vehicle assignments and route planning to optimize efficiency and meet delivery or service deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial transportation regulations and company policies related to fleet operations.

The Fleet Associate utilizes organizational skills daily to manage vehicle records and maintenance schedules efficiently, ensuring all fleet operations run smoothly.
