We are searching for an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our hardworking crew here in the Okanagan.

Please note that the job location is dependent on the current project location – the business is based in Spallumcheen, BC, and we complete projects in the surrounding areas, such as Kelowna, Vernon, and Armstrong. Wage range is estimated earnings per year, but wages will be paid hourly, including extensive overtime pay.

The ideal candidate must have 5+ experience in the civil construction industry as well as:

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Background in civil engineering (preferred)
- Gold Seal Certification (Supervisor preferred)
- Experience with Bluebeam

Responsibilities:

- Assure high standards of safety are always being met at each job site location
- Fully understand the scope of work and project details
- Ensure successful performance of assigned contract crews and help to encourage a "continuous improvement" work setting within a performance-based culture
- Ensure work is executed as per the contract
- Schedule work activities and manpower requirements to meet established completion dates
- Offer pro-active leadership to the team
- Manage and schedule work crew's daily activities

Skills & Qualifications:

- Must be in good physical health




- Must be able to work outdoors for long periods of time
- Must be organized
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be proficient in office-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must have proven experience as a Supervisor or relevant role
- Must have Civil experience encompassing major earthworks, storm and water, road works, concrete works, and asphalt pavement to standard
- Must have a high level of administration skills for daily reporting and other documentation
- Must be able to work effectively with various personnel and in a team with flexibility in work assignments
- Must be able to work well with other supervisors and departments
