We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Flooring Specialist and Painter to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl, while also applying paint and finishes to enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and leveling to ensure optimal adhesion for flooring and paint applications.
- Measure spaces accurately using blueprint reading skills to determine material quantities and layout plans.
- Install flooring materials with precision, including cutting, fitting, and securing tiles, planks, or vinyl sheets according to specifications.
- Apply paint, stains, sealants, or finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve smooth and skilled results.
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and trowels to complete installation and finishing tasks efficiently.




- Perform caulking around edges and seams to ensure water resistance and a clean appearance.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance.

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in flooring installation and painting projects.
- Construction experience with a focus on flooring installation and surface preparation.
- Strong knowledge of different flooring types including tile laying techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Carpentry skills for framing, trimming, or custom fitting as needed.
- Experience with caulking to seal joints and edges effectively.
- Handyman experience that demonstrates versatility across various repair and finishing tasks.
