About Condoplex

Condoplex is an established Canadian manufacturer of integrated security and communication systems for condominiums and multi-residential buildings. For more than 40 years, we have designed and manufactured suite communication panels, access-control equipment, intercoms, entry systems and wireless safety devices.

We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented Electronics Production & Test Technician to join our production team.

The Role

You will assemble, program, test and commission electronic security products using established drawings, instructions and testing procedures. You will also assist with production kitting, inventory handling and occasional shipping and receiving work.

Training will be provided on Condoplex products and internal testing procedures.

What You’ll Do

- Assemble electronic products, circuit boards, cables and mechanical enclosures.
- Perform soldering, wiring, crimping and general component assembly.
- Load firmware and configure electronic products using established tools and procedures.
- Test completed products using multimeters, test fixtures and diagnostic equipment.
- Commission controllers and supporting computer hardware before shipment.
- Troubleshoot basic component, wiring and assembly problems.
- Prepare parts and component kits for upcoming production builds.
- Record completed work and test results accurately.
- Assist with inventory counts and report component shortages.
- Provide occasional support with receiving, packing and shipping.

What We’re Looking For





- Previous experience in electronics assembly, production or product testing.
- Ability to solder and work confidently with small electronic components.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components, circuits and wiring.
- Ability to read and follow schematics, diagrams and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good organization, communication and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
- Able to safely lift and move boxes or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

A college diploma in electronics or a related field is an asset, but equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.

Additional Assets

Experience with any of the following would be helpful, but is not required:

- Security, access-control or intercom equipment
- Microcontrollers or firmware-loading tools
- Network-connected electronic equipment
- Inventory or production-management software
- Building prototypes or electronic test fixtures

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
