We are looking for a motivated and well-connected Commercial Construction Sales Representative who can generate qualified leads and bring new commercial construction projects to our company.
Main Responsibility
Your primary role will be to find and secure new commercial construction opportunities for Acier Contractors.
This may include developing relationships with:
- Business owners
- Franchise owners and developers
- Commercial realtors and leasing agents
- Architects and designers
- Property managers and landlords
- Developers and commercial investors
- Medical, dental and daycare operators
You will introduce potential clients to Acier Contractors, understand their upcoming construction needs, arrange meetings and help move opportunities toward a signed construction contract.
Responsibilities
- Find and develop new commercial construction leads
- Build relationships with decision-makers and referral partners
- Contact businesses planning new locations, expansions or renovations
- Attend networking events, trade shows and business meetings
- Follow up with potential clients and maintain communication
- Coordinate site meetings with our estimating and project-management team
- Help present company qualifications, past projects and proposals
- Maintain an organized list of leads, follow-ups and opportunities
- Support the sales process until the construction contract is awarded
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in commercial construction sales, business development,
real estate, franchising or a related industry
- Strong network within the Lower Mainland business or construction community
- Understanding of commercial tenant improvements is an asset
- Confident approaching business owners and senior decision-makers
- Professional communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Able to generate genuine opportunities, not simply provide unqualified contact lists
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
Compensation
This is a commission-based position with strong earning potential.
Commission will be based on the value and profitability of projects successfully brought to Acier Contractors. The exact commission structure and payment milestones will be discussed with qualified candidates.
Commission is payable on projects that result in a signed construction contract and according to the agreed payment terms.
There is no fixed salary for this position at this time.
