The Oshawa Clinic Group is one of Ontario's largest physician-owned multi-specialty clinics, providing exceptional healthcare to our community for over 75 years. In this role, you will lead all aspects of our Human Resources function providing strategic and hands-on HR leadership ensuring continuity, stability and the effective delivery of core HR functions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, physicians, and managers across the organization while being responsible for planning, organizing and directing human resources programs in support both operational and strategic objectives.

What You'll Do
As our Human Resources Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department.
- Provide professional guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and employment legislation.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies that support organizational needs.
- Maintain, enhance, and evolve HR policies, programs, and organizational best practices.
- Lead employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and strategic projects.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Ontario employment legislation and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Lead HR-related organizational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify employment-related risks and provide practical recommendations that support informed business decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of a post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or other related program.
- CHRP designation required (CHRL considered an asset).
- Minimum five years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with employee relations, investigations, recruitment, performance management, and policy development.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into practical recommendations.
- High level of discretion and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
