Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely food service delivery
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Implement food safety protocols and handle food according to health regulations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety standards,
and service expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
- Extensive food service experience with a solid understanding of kitchen operations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with team management skills
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills to serve effectively within a diverse team
- Passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional customer service
