Position Summary

As a Homestay Coordinator, you’ll be part of our dedicated coordination team, supporting students and host families throughout their homestay journey. This role involves communication, relationship management, and outreach to local education partners. If you enjoy meaningful work and working with people from diverse backgrounds, this is the prospect for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate with host families and students to ensure smooth coordination
- Recruit and onboard new host families through outreach and community engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with local school districts, colleges, ESL programs, universities, and agencies
- Respond to inquiries and support day-to-day operations
- Keep accurate records and ensure quality standards are met

Ideal Candidate

- Fluent in English and Japanese with strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Valid driver’s license (required for visiting host families and local partners)




- Comfortable with outreach and relationship-building with external partners
- Proficient in Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive, etc.)
- Ability to contribute to social media and online content creation
- Able to collaborate with the marketing team to enhance inquiries and engagement
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
- Friendly, professional, and approachable
- Able to work independently and take initiative

Job Details

Hourly Rate: Starting at $18.25/hour
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
Work Style: In-office (near Waterfront Station, Vancouver)
