What You'll Do As a Machine Set-Up Operator, you will be responsible for preparing and adjusting production equipment to meet changing production requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up production machines and making machine adjustments
- Installing machine attachments according to production specifications
- Loading material onto bag manufacturing machines using an overhead hoist
- Performing minor equipment maintenance
- Monitoring production throughout the shift
- Using hand tools to make mechanical adjustments
- Walking the production line and ensuring equipment operates efficiently
- Working safely around operating machinery Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in physically demanding work environments
- Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience using hand tools
