We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dynamic dental laboratory team. Duties
- Fabricate dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances based on detailed specifications and patient needs
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design restorations with precision and efficiency
- Prepare models and molds through laboratory procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the process
- Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to interpret clinical instructions and ensure optimal fit and function of restorations
- Maintain detailed records of work progress, materials used, and quality checks for each case
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment
- Stay updated on the latest techniques in dental technology and incorporate new methods into your workflow
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental restorations
- Strong laboratory experience with hands-on fabrication of dental appliances
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Experience working in a dental office setting or with dental professionals is highly preferred
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures to facilitate effective communication with clinical staff
- Ability to interpret impressions, diagnostic models, and clinical instructions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
