What You'll DoResident Service & Customer Care

- Provide professional, friendly, and courteous service to residents.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries and maintenance requests.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
- Foster positive resident relationships while maintaining a safe and welcoming community.

Building Operations

- Respond to emergency service calls as required.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure buildings remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Complete required safety checks, logs, and fire/life safety inspections.
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE when required.

Maintenance & Repairs

- Complete service requests in occupied apartments.
- Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, mechanical rooms, and parking areas.
- Conduct vacant suite inspections and assist with month-end responsibilities.
- Complete daily grounds maintenance, including litter collection, waste and recycling duties, and limited snow removal.
- Ensure all building entrances, exits, and mechanical doors are secure and functioning properly.

What We're Looking For





- Previous experience in residential or commercial property maintenance is preferred.
- Plumbing experience is required.
- Working knowledge of building systems including boilers, HVAC, pumps, emergency generators, sprinkler systems, and other mechanical equipment.
- Experience using both hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, and moving appliances, furniture, garbage bins, and maintenance equipment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: In Person – Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Pay: $19.16-$37.75 per hour
