Indigo Sky Therapy is seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at our Maple Ridge clinic. We support children and adolescents with autism, Down syndrome, developmental disabilities, and other neurodivergent needs.

This is a flexible, part-time independent contractor opportunity. The successful candidate will provide individualized, family-centred speech, language, and communication services in collaboration with Behaviour Consultants, Behaviour Interventionists, caregivers, and other professionals.

Location: Maple Ridge, BC
Position type: Part-time, Independent Contractor
Compensation: $80–$110 per hour, based on experience and the type of service provided
Schedule: Flexible; weekday, after-school, or weekend availability may be considered

Responsibilities:

- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized, age-appropriate intervention plans.
- Support receptive language, expressive language, social communication, speech development, and functional communication.
- Assess and support augmentative and alternative communication when appropriate.
- Prepare assessment reports, progress updates, recommendations, and clinical documentation.
- Provide practical communication strategies and coaching to families and team members.
- Collaborate with Behaviour Consultants and other professionals when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records.
- Follow professional, ethical, privacy, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:





- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- Professional liability insurance.
- Experience supporting children or adolescents with developmental disabilities or neurodivergent needs is preferred.
- Experience with autism, Down syndrome, nonspeaking learners, and augmentative and alternative communication is an asset.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Successful criminal record check with the vulnerable sector, as required.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.
