Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
- Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, addressing questions or concerns professionally
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tables or bar stations effectively
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, with a solid understanding of hospitality standards
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
- Experience in the food industry is a plus; however, a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued
