Overview

We are seeking a agile and dedicated Class 1 Driver/Operator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including trucks and specialized equipment, to transport freight efficiently across various locations. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, uphold safety standards, and maintain the integrity of all cargo. Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Transport freight and materials efficiently between designated sites, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, identifying maintenance needs or safety issues before departure
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy machinery when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Perform routine automotive repairs or basic troubleshooting to maintain vehicle performance and safety standards
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation,



and vehicle inspections in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight transportation
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and other industrial machinery preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment use
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading freight and conducting inspections
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and operational procedures

Pay: $36.00-$36.77 per hour
