About the Job:

Meraki Construction is hiring full time Civil Construction Labourers for the Tachie Road Reconstruction Project. Labourers will support a variety of road construction activities, including site preparation, geotextile installation, culvert installation, traffic control, environmental protection, and general site support.

Labourers will work closely with the Foreman, Equipment Operators, and other site personnel to help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications while contributing to the successful delivery of the project.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist with geotextile installation and site preparation activities
- Operate packers and other equipment as required
- Support culvert installation activities
- Assist with surveying and layout activities
- Provide traffic control support as required
- Assist with environmental protection and erosion control measures
- Perform general site support, clean up, and other duties as required




- Work collaboratively with equipment operators, drivers, and the site crew to support safe and efficient project completion

About you:

- Previous experience in heavy civil construction, road construction, or general labour is preferred
- Experience working around heavy construction equipment and active worksites is an asset
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site procedures
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team in a remote project environment

Project Details:

- Location: Tache, BC (approximately 45 minutes north of Fort St. James)
- Project Duration: August 2026 - November 2026, (possibility of project extension)
- Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off
- Travel assistance available for eligible out-of-town employees
- Living Out Allowance (LOW) available per day worked
