Our sports and entertainment operations include organizations such as the Seattle Thunderbirds, Spruce Grove Saints, Stony Plain Eagles, as well as hockey development and league operations that support athletes at various stages of their careers. These leagues include the Hockey Super League, Female Super League as well as the Juniors Prospects Hockey League.

Key Responsibilities

Full Cycle Accounting including:

AP, AR, Reconciliations

- Support Data Entry Clerks with all AP and AR functions
- Support Data Entry Clerks with Bank and Credit Card reconciliation

Monthly accounting reports

- Book all prepaid expense entries
- Book all deferred revenue entries
- Review general ledger accounts for accuracy




- Update working papers monthly to ensure accuracy of GL accounts
- Month end reporting
- Compile approved month end financial reports
- Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

- Reports to Director of Finance

Schedule

- Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm (or an approved variation)

Qualifications & Education

- Post-secondary Degree in Accounting. New grads welcome to apply.
- Experience with Sage 50 an asset
- Experience with QuickBooks Online an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organization skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Solid work ethic and positive attitude

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
