Location: Goderich Area, ON
Pay: $21.00–$22.00/hour
Schedule: Part-Time / Casual

Immediate Overnight Weekend Coverage Required

- Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Potential for ongoing weekend overnight shifts

About the Role

HealthOPM is currently recruiting a Housekeeper or Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a retirement home in the Goderich area.

The primary focus of this position is overnight housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents. Personal Support Workers who are comfortable performing housekeeping duties are encouraged to apply.

We’re looking for someone who is available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the retirement home.
- Maintain resident rooms and common areas in accordance with infection prevention and organizational standards.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping-related tasks as required.




- Provide basic assistance to residents when appropriate and notify the nursing team of any concerns.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping experience in a retirement home, long-term care home, hospital, or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
- OR Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized Ontario program.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation to the Goderich area.
- Available to work overnight weekend shifts.
- Vulnerable Sector Check and TB clearance are assets.
