Position Title: Forest Mensuration Technician
We are currently looking for Forest Mensuration Technician to join our team. Candidates must be capable of performing demanding fieldwork in all weather conditions. This position will be to support our forest mensuration plots projects and is contract based.
Starting: ASAP
Ending: October 31st, 2026.

Some things you will be responsible for:
To be successful in this role at Carson Integrated, you will have experience with most of these areas and are eager to learn and develop the ones you are missing.
· Digital collection, preparation, and management of field data
Experience and skillset to thrive in this role:
· 2+ seasons of relevant work experience
· Experience in field activities such as PSPs, TSPs, timber cruising, boundary and road layout, riparian layout, and timber reconnaissance surveys
· Capable of enduring physically demanding fieldwork
· Solid communication skills
· Experience operating an ATV and/or snowmobile
· Class 5 Drivers license
The following training courses are a requirement for this position:
· Standard First Aid and CPR
· ATV/Snow mobile use
· Bear awareness
· Defensive driving (online course is a minimum, in vehicle is preferred)
