We are hiring for:
- Full time dietary aid to work day shift starting at 6:15am & 7:15am and option to work grocery shift starting at 5:30am, aswell as option to work kitchen housekeeping shift starting at 4:30pm. Full time will average 27.5 - 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of an industrial dishwasher
- Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
- To effectively work along side the dietary manager or cook
- Assist with tray service as needed
- Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
- Food Clean up and garbage allocation
- Clean food production areas and wash dishes, cooking equipment and silverware
- Stock
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
- Grocery shift and kitchen housekeeping shift can be discussed at interview.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a dietary aide
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents,
visitors
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
- Experience with basic nutrition and special diets
- Experience with industrial appliances
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
- Food Handlers Certificate

Requirements prior to starting:
· Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
· Recent TB test
· Complete mandatory training
