Donut Express is a rapidly growing Canadian food manufacturer specializing in high-volume baked snack products sold through major retail and foodservice channels.

We are currently seeking an experienced Food Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and help scale our production capabilities as customer demand continues to grow.

This position is ideal for a strong operational leader who understands food manufacturing, HACCP-based food safety systems, production planning, inventory coordination, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily production operations and multiple production shifts
- Manage and support shift supervisors and production teams
- Coordinate production planning based on sales demand and inventory requirements
- Ensure HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained
- Improve operational efficiencies, labour utilization, and throughput
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and QA teams
- Monitor KPIs, downtime, waste, and production performance




- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility

Qualifications

- 5+ years of food manufacturing leadership experience
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety systems
- Experience managing supervisors and production teams
- Strong production planning and organizational skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Bakery or high-volume food manufacturing experience is considered an asset
